SparkFun EasyVR 3 Plus Shield for Arduino is a multi-purpose speech module designed to add versatile, robust, and cost-effective speech recognition capabilities to applications. This shield implements SonicNet™ technology for wireless communication between modules or any other sound source such as audio, CD, DVD or MP3 player. The EasyVR shield features easy-to-use GUI (Graphical User Interface) to program voice commands and audio and also standard UART interface powered at 3.3V to 5V. This shield comes with male headers, microphone cable assembly, and speaker wires. Typical applications include home automation such as voice-controlled light switches, locks, and curtains or kitchen appliances.
