Johnson / Cinch Connectivity Solutions SMK 2.92mm Connectors use an air dielectric and a Noryl support bead for a higher cutoff frequency than SMA connectors. The thick-wall design of the components increases the outer conductor contact area at the interface for more reliable electrical performance and higher mechanical strength. Johnson / Cinch Connectivity SMK connectors feature a maximum VSWR of 1.15: 1 from DC to 18GHz and 1.3: 1 from 18GHz to 40GHz. Thread mount, flange mount, and end launch mounting flange configurations are available. Both the field replaceable and thread-in (spark plug) connectors are available with hermetic seals or accessory pins. The hermetic seals and accessory pins can be modified to a wide range of configurations to match various application needs.
