The NCP115 is optimized for portable battery-powered applications that require ultra-low quiescent current. These devices employ dynamic quiescent current adjustment to ensure very low IQ consumption at no load. The low supply current, enable function, and auto low-power mode features of the NCP115 also extend battery life in portable applications.
