PL360B Programmable PLC Modems Microchip Technology PL360B Programmable Power Line Communication (PLC) Modems are designed to run any PLC protocol in a frequency band below 500kHz. These modems are compliant with FCC, ARIB, KN60, and CENELEC EN50065 regulations that match the requirements of IoT and smart energy applications. The PL360B modems support state-of-the-art narrow-band PLC standards such as ITU G.9903 (G3-PLC®) and ITU G.9904 (PRIME). These modems also provide a future-proof platform that supports the evolution of these standards. The PL360B modems are conceived to be driven by external Microchip host devices and provide additional flexibility on the host side. This Microchip host device loads the proper PLC protocol firmware before modem operation and controls the PL360B modem.
